How to Get a Guy to Kiss You

So the date has been amazing, you’re totally into the guy, and all you want is a slow kiss to end the night. But you don’t want to throw yourself at him like some sort of hooch. So how do you let him know you want him to kiss you? Good question. Here are some easy ways to let him know you want to be kissed.

1. Look deep into his eyes. Nothing is more romantically powerful than eye contact, and when a guy sees a girl gazing at him when they are close, the pull can be magnetic. Before he even realizes what is happening, he may be leaning right into your lips.

2. Speaking of lips: Nothing begs for a kiss more than kissable lips. To ensure maximum attraction, make sure your lips look soft and moist. A little chapstick or lip gloss can go a long way. Buy don’t want to overdo it – if your lips are smothered in glittery gloss, he might just shy away.

3. Without being too forward, touch him in some way. It could be a hand on the shoulder, brushing his hair aside, or even just grabbing his hand. The point is to make physical contact – this encourages him by letting him know you are fine with it.

4. Make “kissy” faces. This sounds silly, but if you make pouty lips or even pensively push your lips together, it might put the thought in his head. (You might want to practice this in the mirror first to make sure you don’t look stupid.)

5. Look at his lips. If a guy sees you staring at his mouth, most of the time he will realize that you want him to do something with it. Wink.

7. Talk about kissing. This might sound too assertive, but there’s nothing wrong with bringing up the subject. If nothing else, it shows him that you are thinking about it, and that might give him the courage to pull you in.

8. Give him inviting body language. If you want him to feel welcome to kiss you, the worst thing to do is look like you don’t. Avoid crossing your arms or turning away. Be cute, be playful. Get close to him and smile a lot. It won’t be long before he gets the hint.

9. Lick your lips. Again, this is something that will draw attention to your mouth, which is where he needs to focus if he’s going to kiss you.

10. Just tell him! Sometimes, it’s best to just put it out there. If the guy really wants to kiss you but is too shy or doesn’t know how to read signals very well, the easiest way to make it happen is to just say: “Kiss me.”
